Thank you Emjay, but nothing in my position has changed. I've just clarified and rethought my response to a complex challenge. I am of course aware of the BMA's report and of the many respectable doctors and institutions that have distanced themselves from that report. And please understand that I live in Britain, and I don't turn to the US for guidance on gender issues.
